A Diagnosis Few Have Ever Heard Of

Aisulu has been living in rented homes for the past twenty years. During all this time, she moved from one place to another, dedicating her life to raising her four children. Today, she cannot work because her daughter, Medina, needs constant special care.

Doctors diagnosed Medina with atresia, a very rare condition, according to her mother.

Since birth, Medina has undergone three major surgeries. Today, an essential bodily function is made possible through a special medical device. She requires constant care, strict hygiene, and her mother's presence every hour of the day.

The hardest part is raising a child with special needs in a small rented apartment. Several children share one room, leaving very little space for treatment, rest, or simply enjoying a happy childhood.

After many years of fighting for her children's future, this mother's tears finally became tears of joy. Thanks to the kindness and unity of the people of Kazakhstan, we were able to give a home to this single mother and her four children. Twenty years of moving from one rented apartment to another are finally over.

From now on, this home will be filled with children's laughter. The kitchen will be filled with the smell of warm meals prepared with a mother's love. Each child will have a place of their own, their own dreams, and hope for a brighter future.
